” Our Goal is to provide a resource for special needs children to have local access to adapted toys and fun powered mobility that fit their developmental needs.”- Heather Bennett co-Founder
Children learn through play. they learn physical, cognitive, and social skills which are all very important to their childhood development. A child with a disability is no different. They have the desire and need to learn cause and effect, develop fine motor skills, develop social skills, gain self esteem, and learn how to interact with their world. Most toys are designed for the typically abled child. A special needs child may not have the physical or cognitive ability to operate many of the typical toys that are readily available. Operating a simple remote control toy can seem an impossible task to some. Take that same toy and rewire it to accept special capability switches and he/she can operate it with switches that are specifically designed for his/her abilities.
